The Kiona Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit holistic health organization. Our foundation major focus points deal with living organisms and their organization, life processes, and relationships to each other and their environment.
Our MissionThe mission of the Kiona Foundation is to provide information, resources and conventional wisdom that will encourage people to take a proactive approach to their health through advocacy, support services and education. The Holistic Health CenterThe Kiona Foundation Holistic Health Center is home to our Foundation’s administrative staff and also serves as a client intake area and education center for persons interested in seeking consultation, research or resources relating to alternative or complimentary medicine. We offer educational courses, reference materials and support services, in addition to offering customized one-on-one natural health consultations. The Kiona Foundation Holistic Health Centers’ Naturopathic approach to health and focus on living as close to nature as possible gives us basis for the belief that there is only one true illness; that being the absence of health. This means many different things for many different people. The Kiona Foundation Holistic Health Center list of services includes information and resources related to natural health; including naturopathy, homeopathy and the use and application of medicinal herbs, holistic nutrition, alternative/complimentary medicine and related therapies. Our Holistic Health Center serves as a complete source for overall health with an emphasis on the link between nutrition and all chronic/degenerative illnesses. The Kiona Foundation Holistic Health Center list of services also includes classes and resources relating to natural parenting including natural childbirth, unassisted (free) childbirth, attachment parenting, cloth diapering, baby wearing, pediatric herbal preparations and homeopathic remedies. For Cancer SurvivorsIn memory of our foundation namesake, who was
diagnosed with both a Teratoma and Germinoma brain tumor in 2002, we maintain a
firm commitment to the cancer survivor community and increasing cancer education
and resources relating to cancer survivorship issues. Click
